Good art, great art, less good art or even bad art. Everything lies in the eyes of the beholder. Everyone has an opinion about the art they experience and maybe it was just this that made me wait so long before I chose to share mine. I have painted all my life and my paintings have always been appreciated by family and friends. However, it was only a few years ago that I felt comfortable enough to hang my paintings even in our home. After all, when you show your art, you expose a part of yourself. Maybe the famous Swedish law of Jante plays a big role in this? A silent law that shapes us based on the influence of society. Regardless, one day I built the courage to sign up for an art exhibition. It was time to show some of me, my art, I was ready for the next step.
