Welcome to the arttrail of Älmhult 2022

A glocal art trail with more than 50 artists in and around Älmhult, with a total of 24 places to visit. During the arttrail you will get close to the nature whilst traveling on the roads in Småland between different artists. The art trail of 2022 includes painters, design, movie art, textile art, sculptures and handicraft – in total a great mixture of expressions. Friday the 26th of August 

Welcome to the opening of the art trail at Folkets Hus. There will be music performed by Swing Tarturo. Food and drinks will be able to purchase at the bar. Saturday the 27th of August 

10:00-11:00 Children’s Concert – Jazzcats on new adventures Place: Folkets Hus, number 1 on map. Tickets are purchased at Folkets Hus webpage. 10:00-17:00 Big exhibition opens at Folkets Hus, number 1 on map.  11:00-17:00 Studios and exhibition spaces Fika Kids café open for kids. Number 15 on map. Ali Aljounde paints your portrait live, drop in. Number 7 on map. Harvest festival and newly opened sculptured path to visit during the weekend at Destination Möckelsnäs, Number 17 on map. Pattern Play, learn to make patterns on papers with Susse Linton, Illustrator. Drop in, number 6 on map. 18:00 – Two local bands performs at Muff: The Few People and Raven Band (Folk and county music with inspiration from Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan). Tapas, beer, wine and live music. Number 3 on map.

Sunday the 28th of August

The Art Trail for Kids: For kids who are interested in arts there is, next to the arts, also some snails to look for at some of the galleries. Kids who want to can use a map with a riddle – and if they are able to discover the keyword in the riddle, they will receive a reward at Folkets Hus. Download the map and the instructions here.
