Annual meeting•
Once a year, in February, Älmhult’s art association has its annual meeting. At that meeting, you as a member have the chance to win artwork from the previous year’s exhibitors.
Älmhult’s art association buys art during exhibitions and events. During our exhibitions, we buy in a smaller work that is during the vernissage by lottery won by members visting the opening. We also buy in larger art peices during the year from exhibtions, events and more, that can be won by members during the annual meeting. You can only win if you are a member of the art association in the same year that the exhibitions take place.
Annual meeting 2023
Warm welcome to the annual meeting. It will be together with the theater association. We will start with mingling at 16:45. around 17:00 we start with two short formalities of annual meeting minutes. Then enjoy a theater performance on the foyer stage, called Skådespelaren. A monologue with humor that is worth seeing.
All members of the art & theater association are invited to the theatre. After the theatre, we will raffle a total of 21 works of art purchased during 2022 to members. Here it is important to be on site! Everyone who is drawn as a winner and has a place can choose a work immediately. Everyone who is not in place, then it is first come, first serve after the annual meeting. Times for that will be sent out after the annual meeting to those who won and did not attend. There are works from many talented artists this year, Jenny Säll Madsen, Marie Karlsson, Kajsa Dahl, Berglind Magnusdottir, Lena Pedersen, Johanna Hahn, Alessandra Pollicini, Birgitta Heiling, Sabine Öllerer, Mahmoud Jaour, Ali Aljounde, Michael Jansson & Mathilda Thorwaldsson.
