Have been doing pottery since 1999 but also work half time as a florist. Working only with stoneware, turning, thumbs and build the clay to different shapes. Very little functional goods (it happens, however) but got stuck in organic forms, many leaves, flowers! Turning parts that I black fire in sawdust. The blackness is difficult to control. It depends on the weather, different kinds of sawdust, humidity, etc.
